In demand in Saudi Arabia
Every market buys differently. These are the grades that actually sell in Saudi Arabia, rather than a catalogue of everything we mill.
The Saudi market runs on golden sella. It survives the long holding times of institutional and catering kitchens without breaking down, which is exactly why kabsa and mandi kitchens specify it.
The cream-white parboiled grade, for buyers who want basmati length and firmness without the golden colour. Strong seller through Riyadh and Jeddah wholesale.
SFDA residue testing at the border is real and consignments do get held. Shipping PRF-graded rice with a NABL report attached is the cheapest insurance available.

Questions importers ask
One 20ft container, roughly 26 metric tonnes, of a single variety. Mixed-variety containers are accepted where each variety makes up at least 5 tonnes. Most Saudi importers order in 40ft containers or multi-container programmes.
Yes. We provide the technical file, specification sheet, accredited laboratory analysis and label artwork your Saudi importer needs to raise the Product Certificate of Conformity and the Shipment Certificate of Conformity on the SABER platform. The certificates themselves are issued to the importer of record, so your customs broker files them, but the underlying documents come from us.
Yes. A halal certificate is issued for every consignment by a certification body recognised in Saudi Arabia, covering the mill, the packing line and the specific lot shipped.
1121 Golden Sella by a wide margin. It holds grain structure through the long cooking and holding times of kabsa and mandi kitchens, and the golden colour is what the Saudi trade expects. 1121 cream sella follows, and 1509 sella sells where a lower price point is needed.
Every lot shipped to Saudi Arabia is tested at a NABL-accredited laboratory and the report travels with the consignment. Buyers supplying retail and institutional accounts increasingly move to our pesticide residue free grade, which is milled on a dedicated line and screened against more than 350 residues.
Irrevocable letter of credit at sight through a first-class bank, or advance telegraphic transfer. Documents against payment can be considered once a shipment history is established.
