Containers load at Mundra, Kandla or Nhava Sheva and reach Jebel Ali in seven to ten days. For hypermarket listings and re-export buyers who must show a clean residue report. Tested against 350-plus residues at NABL laboratories before it leaves the mill.
Logistics
Shipping rice from India to UAE

Load ports
Mundra and Kandla for Gujarat-origin stuffing, Nhava Sheva when the cargo consolidates in Maharashtra. We nominate whichever gives you the earliest sailing.
Transit time
Seven to ten days port to port on direct services. Add three to four working days for stuffing, customs and documentation before sailing.
Container loading
About 26 MT in a 20ft and 27 MT in a 40ft. Rice is weight-limited, not volume-limited, so a 40ft rarely carries much more than a 20ft.
Incoterms
FOB Mundra, Kandla or Nhava Sheva, or CIF Jebel Ali, Khalifa Port and Port Rashid. Ex-works and CFR are available if your freight forwarder is already appointed.

Documentation for UAE import clearance
Most rice consignments that get held up are held on paperwork, not on quality. We prepare the file before the container is booked so your clearing agent is never waiting on us.
- Halal certification. Issued per consignment by a certification body accepted in the UAE, covering the mill, the packing line and the specific lot.
- Arabic labelling. Product name, ingredients, net weight, origin, production and expiry dates and importer details in Arabic alongside English, applied at the mill so you are not relabelling at the warehouse.
- Shelf life on arrival. UAE food control requires a meaningful portion of shelf life remaining at import. We date-code to arrival, not to milling, and ship fresh stock.
- Product registration. We supply the specification sheets, analysis reports and label artwork your customs broker needs for MOIAT and municipality food registration.
- Export documentation. Phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and fumigation certificate where required.

Exporting rice from India to UAE
One 20ft container, roughly 26 metric tonnes, for a single variety. Mixed-variety containers are accepted where each variety is at least 5 tonnes. For smaller trial orders we can arrange LCL consolidation to Jebel Ali, though the per-tonne freight cost is higher.

Yes. A halal certificate is issued for each consignment by a body accepted in the UAE and covers the mill, the packing line and the specific lot shipped. Rice is not a meat product, but UAE importers and retail buyers ask for the certificate as standard and we supply it without being asked.
Yes. We print and pack 1kg, 5kg, 10kg and 20kg retail bags carrying your brand, with Arabic and English text, barcodes and the importer details required by UAE food control. Minimum is three tonnes per design and artwork approval takes about a week.
